Tusker FC have completed the signing of three new players to beef up the squad ahead of the new season that commences in just under two weeks.The Brewers were yet to make any additions to the squad although the players they have acquired have been training with the side for weeks now and have featured in pre-season friendly games.##NAJAVA_MECA_6596448##Leading the new signings is Wazito FC striker Eric Otieno. The lanky attacker leaves the Fred Ambani led team after two season and he is expected to boost the Brewers attack for next season. Otieno has previously turned out for KCB and Nzoia Sugar FC.Also joining the Brewers is Kariobangi Sharks trio of Toma Teka, Eric Mmata and Boniface ‘Kajos’ Onyango. Teka, a defender finally ends his four-year stay with Sharks while Mmata, who has previously played for Mathare United and Ushuru FC exits after one season, he scored 11 goals for Sharks last year. Kajos leaves Sharks after three years and he is expected to solidify Tusker’s rearguard.##EDITORS_CHOICE##With Patrick Matasi’s future at Tusker up in the air, the club has boosted its goalkeeping department by acquiring the services of Brian Opondo from Bidco United. Opondo is a former Bidco United keeper and he is expected to fight for a place between the posts with Brian Bwire , Michael Wanjala and one of the keepers from the Brewers’ youth team.Completing the list is rookie midfielder David ‘Daddy’ Odoyo. The central midfielder has been training with Tusker for weeks now and impressed coach Robert Matano who has now sanctioned his signing.Meanwhile the club has decided against releasing Tanzanian defender, Kalos Kirenge. The central defender was keen on leaving the club for Singida Big Stars big home but he will now have to turn out for the Ruaraka based for at least one more season.Make that 13!
