By Sam Gitahi.Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is once again in the thick of things after yet another loss in his first five games of the new season, this time falling to a youthful Southampton side at the Saint Mary’s Stadium on Tuesday night. Two losses in five, back to back away defeats, eight goals conceded in four games, away loss to Southampton since 2013 and the worst start to a premier league season since the Frank Lampard era isn’t the type of record that Chelsea fans were looking forward to this early into the new season.2 – Chelsea have lost at least two of their opening five games to a Premier League campaign for just the second time in 27 seasons, after losing three of their first five in 2015-16 – eventually finishing 10th place that year.
