Just over a month after signing for big-spending Tanzanian Premier League side Singida Big Stars, Kenyan winger Harrison Mwendwa has terminated his contract with the club and is back in the country.Mwendwa has not featured in Singida’s opening two matches of the season against Tanzania Prisons and Mbeya City and speculation were rife that he was not in the team’s plans a few weeks into the one-year deal that he inked with the club. The team picked wins in both matches and is currently joint top.The latest reports in Tanzania now indicate that he has indeed left the club after both parties reached an agreement over the cancellation of his contract and it remains unclear in where he will head next.SINGIDA YAMTEMA MWENDWAKlabu ya Singida Big Stars imeachana na aliyekuwa winga wake mshambuliaji, Harrison Mwendwa 🇰🇪 ikiwa ni mwezi mmoja tu tangu iingie naye mkataba wa mwaka mmoja, inatajwa sababu kubwa ni majeraha. pic.twitter.com/4fsE1nNLeG— Godson jackson (@Godson10081455) September 1, 2022 He had initially been linked with a move to Simba before Singida came with what was reported to be a mouth-watering offer that swayed the winger to Singida who have the likes of Meddie Kagere, Amisi Tambwe, and Pascal Wawa in their books.##NAJAVA_MECA_6606771##Mwendwa joined Singida after parting ways with Kabwe Warriors as the ambitious Zambian club went all out to sign players ahead of their maiden top-flight campaign. The speedy winger has previously played for Mathare United, Kariobangi Sharks, and AFC Leopards.
