Barcelona made it three La Liga wins in a row with a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Sevilla at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan on Saturday night. Robert Lewandowski was at his best, but it was former Sevilla defender Jules Kounde who excelled with two assists to punish Los Nervionenses.Sevilla have not beaten Barcelona in La Liga since October 2015. It was Raphinha’s first competitive goal for the Catalan club.Lewa got on the scoresheet himself with a classy finish from Kounde’s cross. The Polish hitman chested the ball down and fired past Bono, with Sevilla defenders looking on in awe. Speaking of Kounde, he was booed by the fans who adored him not long ago. But he showed respect to his former club by not celebrating the goal he created.Sevilla’s attacks were futile, with Youssef En-Nesyri unable to get service from Ivan Rakitic, Erik Lamela and the rest of the overrun midfield.On the other side, Barca defenders combined to make the gulf even wider. Kounde headed down a Raphinha cross, leaving Eric Garcia the easiest of tasks to prod from close range with Bono stranded.It was a depressing night for Julen Lopetegui, whose team remains winless and hovering just above the relegation zone with one measly point from four games.
