APS Bomet FC head coach Charles Odera has welcomed the move to postpone the league kick off date, terming it a blessing in disguise for his side whom he admits are not yet fully ready for their top-flight bow.The FKF Transition Committee, whose future at the helm of Kenyan football remains uncertain pushed the league kick off date by a further two weeks from 10th to 24th September. A number of teams were irked by the move saying they were ready to play and faulted the Moses Oyugi led Committee for the move which they say was made without any consultations.##NAJAVA_MECA_6614440##For Odera however, the move is a blessing in disguise. He says his team has been in pre-season for under one month and are not fully ready for the new campaign.”Our pre-season has been on for just three weeks and the truth is we are not fully ready and for us as a team I can say the postponement is a blessing in disguise, it gives us more time to work on our grey areas and we are going to make the most out of this extension. We also have many new players with us and it is time to ensure that the team gels well in readiness for the new campaign,” he said. The tactician however warned against any further extensions saying it will hurt teams which have been readying themselves for close to two months now.”They should not extend it any further because it is definitely going to hurt teams. Most of the teams are ready for the new season and it is only fair that the league gets underway on 24th. The people in charge of the league should ensure that there is no further postponement, ” he added.##EDITORS_CHOICE##The team’s promotion to the top tier however remains uncertain. There is a case in court challenging their promotion alongside Fortune Sacco FC. The case was filed by Murang’a Seal FC.Police woo highly rated Nzoia winger
