Tanzanian giants, Simba SC have announced a shocking decision to part ways with Serbian-Portuguese tactician, Zoran Manojlovic alias Maki two matches into the new season.Zaki has won his opening two league matches of the season against Geita Gold and Kagera Sugar scoring five goals and letting in none in the process and the decision to let go of him has come as a shocker to many.Club CEO Barbara Gonzalez has released a statement announcing that the two parties have agreed to mutually part ways. Also exiting are goalkeeping coach Mohamed Rachid and fitness trainer, Sbai Karim.“Simba Sports Club has reached an agreement to mutually part way with head coach Zoran Maki. Furthermore, the club has reached a mutual agreement to part ways with our fitness coach Sbai Karim and goalkeeping coach Mohamed Rachid. Simba Sports Club wishes them all the best in their future endeavours. The recruitment of the new head coach is underway and shall be announced once the new candidate has been identified,” continued the statement.Maki was named Simba coach towards the end of June. He come as a replacement for Spaniard Pablo Franco Martin who was fired by the club. He immediately took charge of the team during pre-season as the team camped in Egypt.The tactician’s exit could hand Joash Onyango a reprieve.
