James Kibande has taken to social media to bid Nzoia Sugar FC goodbye as she prepares to join rival FKF Premier League side, Kenya Police FC.The winger has been with Nzoia from January 2019 when he was signed from St. Anthony’s Boys Kitale and he will now turn out for the Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omolo led team from next season. It was an honour putting on this special jersey. We have been together through ups and downs and maybe this is the right time to take another challenge. Asanteni sana Nzoia,” read his social media post.Earlier club chairman Evans Kadenge had confirmed the player’s move to Police after they offered him a job opportunity. The player is to be recruited into the police force.“We have already reached an agreement with Police FC. They have told us that they are offering the boy and we see it in the best interest of the player, even for his future. He is an exciting player and his absence will be felt. However, developing new talents is our specialty and we will unearth yet another one like we have always done.
