FKF Premier League sides, Bandari and Gor Mahia will face off in a pre-season friendly match at the Mbaraki Sports Club on Saturday afternoon, two weeks before the new season commences.The league was initially set to start on Saturday but that has now been pushed forward by two more weeks, a move that has resulted in clubs planning for more build-up games to sharpen their sides and remain fit ahead of the kick off hoping that there will be no further postponement by the FKF Transition Committee.Both teams have already played a host of friendly matches. Bandari has faced Posta Rangers, FC Talanta, Nation FC, and Malindi Progressive among others. Bandari have announced that fans will have to part with Ksh. 100 to catch the action live at Mbaraki.Bandari have been busy strengthening their squad ahead of the new season. Fidel Origa, James Kinyanjui, Enock Momanyi, Felix Oluoch, Douglas Mokaya, Omar Somobwana, and Mohammed Abeid are some of their new signings.Gor Mahia on the other hand are not in a position to recruit. The team are currently under a FIFA-sanctioned transfer ban and have had to bank on their youth team to beef up team.
