Former Borussia coach goes back home to Leipzig

Stability is the world which (among others) describe the Red Bull Leipzig club. Established in 2009 and run by the famous company for energetic drinks, Leipzig is a steady member of the Bundesliga and participant in the Champions League. The club is famous for developing young talent which are later sold for big bucks somewhere else. The only thing which doesn’t add to the stability of the club is the coach. Since founding days of 2009, Leipzig had 12 coaches (interims included) and today they got the 13th one – Marco Rose.🎙️ Marco Rose: “I identify really strongly with my home, with Leipzig. It’s never easy to take on a role in the public eye in your home city. The people here expect a lot from the club and from me.”🔴⚪ #WeAreLeipzig pic.twitter.com/NsPZDwWhDg— RB Leipzig English (@RBLeipzig_EN) September 8, 2022 After sacking Domenico Tedesco due to bad results, Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff has made an easy decision – to hire a perspective coach who knows the club inside out. Marco Rose is Leipzig born and also started his coaching career there, before moving to Austria, where he spent 4 years in another club owned (and managed) by Red Bull – Salzburg. He was there youth and then senior coach before moving to Monchengladbach and then Dortmund. So, in Rose they have a proper Red Bull soldier, who knows the club policies and is a local lad, so the only thing remaining is to get the players going, since he had a squad capable of reaching the Champions League spot with ease. Tedesco sacked, Leipzig looking at Marco RoseIn Leipzig, Rose signed a contract until 2024, and brought former Bayern striker Alexander Zickler as an assistant. He has a tough task to lift up his players against a very tough but interesting schedule. RB Leipzig is playing against his former club Borussia on Saturday. As their coach, he lost to Leipzig twice last season and was eventually sacked after only one year, with 5 million euros in compensation. Then he will play in the Champions League against Real Madrid, before he goes to another former team – Borussia Monchengladbach. ##NAJAVA_MECA_6625113##
