AFC Leopards have struck a deal with Kenya Police FC that will see midfielders Dan Musamali and Marvin Nabwire join the law enforcers officially.The two players left Ingwe in April and for the police force. Musamali is still undergoing police training while Nabwire, who is expected to be recruited into the force next years has been training with the FKF Premier League outfit for months now.Earlier Ingwe had threatened legal action against Police saying they had tapped their players. Club Secretary General Gilbert Andugu intimated that they would seek FIFA intervention into the issue as the players still had long term deals with the club.Nabwire joined Leopards in 2018 straight from Kakamega High School and went on to become club captain last year when Isaac Kipyegon ditched Ingwe for Tusker FC. Musamali on the other hand was signed by Ingwe in 2019 after he sat for KCSE exams at St. Anthony’s Boys Kitale. He was initially loaned to Nzoia Sugar FC before returning to the den for the 2021/22 season becoming a starter in coach Patrick Aussems’ side.Eugene Mukangula is the new AFC Leopards captain. Everything has been completed.
