The 2021 Football Kenya Federation Women’s Premier League champions Thika Queens have appointed Joseph Oyoo as their new head coach on a year-long deal.Oyoo, who was previously attached to Division One side Mombasa Olympic, succeeds Benta Achieng who left the Thika based club after three years of service.The tactician, while revealing his plan and target for the new season stressed the importance of Queens reclaiming the league title they lost to Vihiga Queens last season.##NAJAVA_MECA_6651286##The former Coast Stima boss said he was impressed with the quality of players his predecessor had assembled and pledged to inspire them to clinch the title.Thika finished fourth last season behind Gaspo Women, Ulinzi Starlets and eventual champions Vihiga Queens.” I am delighted to have joined this great club that has a rich history in the women’s league. The team won the league title last season but one and reclaiming ranks top in my objectives for the season.
