Immediate former Thika Queens goalkeeper Monica Karambu has inked a deal with WPL side, Zetech Sparks after parting ways with the Thika based club on Sunday, she will replace Valentine Khwaka who joined Gaspo.The Harambee Starlets keeper took to social media on Sunday to announce her departure from the 2021 league champions. He had turned out for the club for eight years but a maternity break saw her lose the starting berth between the Thika Queens Posts.“For almost 8 years, I have had the privilege of playing for one of the best clubs in the country, Thika Queens. It’s through this wonderful family that I won the Kenya Women’s Premier League 3 times and got the opportunity to feature for our national team, Harambee Starlets, among other achievements,”.“The time has now come for me to say goodbye. I would like to sincerely thank our amazing fans, the club chairman, Mr. Chege, all coaches under whom I served while at the club, all the officials, and my teammates for making my stay there worthwhile.
