Kenyan international David ‘Calabar’ Odhiambo made a winning return for Napsa Stars on Saturday as he helped the team keep a clean sheet on their way to a comfortable 3-0 victory over FC Muza in their Zambia Super League encounter played at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka. The former Gor Mahia defender, who was making his comeback from injury for the first time since August, was named in the starting eleven and proceeded to play for the full minutes of the game as Napsa got back to winning ways by picking their second victory of the season. The game got off to a slow start as both sides failed to find the cutting edge in front of goal in the first half where the deadlock remained intact by the half time break.Upon the second half’s resumption, Napsa head coach Perry Mutapa opted for triple substitutions which proved to be a masterstroke as Jimmy Mukeya, who replaced Daisy Soko, only needed two minutes to bring the desired effect after finding the back of the net to give the home side the lead.##NAJAVA_MECA_6686227##The introduction of Mukeya proved to be the impetus needed in the match and thirteen minutes later, the Zambian forward turned from goal scorer to provider as he set up Kapembwe Musonda who doubled the team’s lead on the hour mark. With a minute of regulation time left on the clock, Austine Banda put the icing on the cake as he netted the third goal to seal all the three points in the match which handed Napsa their second victory of the campaign.Following the result, Calabar’s side jumped upto seventh on the log on eight points, four behind current log leaders Prison Leopards.
