Owino eyes double glory in his second stint in the FKF PL

Former national U20 attacking midfielder Chris Owino can not wait for his second stint in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League having signed for FC Talanta in the recently shut player transfer window.Owino made his top flight bow back in 2018 with Wazito and spent the following two seasons in the second tier with Talanta who let him go in 2020.It is after leaving Talanta that the youthful midfielder took a break from competitive football but is now readying for a return to the top level after sealing a return to Talanta two months ago.##NAJAVA_MECA_6696598##Among other things the stocky player wants to achieve in the new season is filling in the void left by Francis Kahiro who was the club’s best scorer in the last season.Kahiro who netted nine goals left Talanta for KCB leaving the technical bench members scratching their heads over his replacement.However, Owino who was privileged to play alongside Kahiro when the club was still in the second tier says he is equal to the task.Why Sofapaka will no longer host league matches at Wundanyi Stadium”Kahiro set the bar high last season but I believe that I will reach and surpass the record he set last season.
