Former Mathare United centre back Harun Junior has joined the pool of free agents petitioning the Football Kenya Federation to open consider reopening the transfer window before the new season gets underway.Harun who left Mathare a couple of months ago after the club was relegated by the Transition Committee is currently a free agent after failing to nail down a deal in the recently shut window.##NAJAVA_MECA_6696537##The defender was reportedly under the radar of KCB but the move did not see the light of the day. Further, he was linked with a transfer to the Tanzanian Premier League but the negotiations did not yield the intended fruit.Harun is calling on the federation who are set to resume their duties fully in the forthcoming weeks to open the window again so that the tens of free agents can secure new homes before the new term starts.Sources close to the federation indicate that the new season is set to start in the final weekend of the month.I am lucky to kick the ball again says Mathare defender“I am training on my own at the moment after failing to make a move in the past window. I had some offers few months ago but none materialized. I have checked around and realized that there are tens of players who are not attached and, in this regard, it is my prayer that the federation will open a window even if it will run for a week,” he said.Harun joined Mathare United in 2017 from Shanzu United. He has previously featured for Nairobi Stima albeit on loan from Mathare whose future still remains largely unknown.
