Sofapaka FC head coach David Ouma has lauded forward Baron Oketch saying he is adapting well to new roles assigned to him.Primarily a winger, Oketch has featured as the main or second striker during pre-season and has impressed his new coach as the 2009 champions continue to prepare their team ahead of the 2022/23 season that commences at the end of the month.Known for his blistering face down the right, Oketch has been assigned new roles by Ouma who thinks he can perform better through the middle. The attacker joined Batoto ba Mungu from Biashara United a few weeks ago and has hit the ground running at his new workstation.🔵 UPDATE🗞️ We played Posta Rangers in a build up match at Thika Municipal Stadium. The tactician appreciates his versatile nature and believes that good players should be able to play in more than one position on the pitch.“Baron is a wide player but given a new challenge he delivers. These are the things I want to see, you are not supposed to play in just one position, a good player adapts to new assignments and situations. When given a new challenge, a good player tries to give his best and this is what Baron is doing at the moment, I am happy,” he said.##NAJAVA_MECA_6705382##The former Western Stima, Biashara United, Gor Mahia, Ushuru FC, Bandari FC, and Ulinzi Stars man has scored a couple of goals in pre-season.
