Only LA Galaxy in 1998 have managed more and head into the playoff buzzing with confidence.Ahead of the Monday morning showdown at their Saputo backyard, Piette says they have proven a point and it shows that they can go all the way. He however warned against getting carried away saying they should approach a game at a time.“We must remain level-headed about our playoff ambitions. We’ve proven to the whole league, but especially to ourselves, that we’re capable of going all the way. But we have to remain calm, not look too far into the future and take it one game at a time. We know very well that anything can happen in a playoff game. We’ll focus on Orlando first.” Un match pour accéder à la prochaine ronde. #MLSCupPlayoffs battle next Sunday at Stade Saputo 👊Billets 🎟️ >>> https://t.co/FcgQiMlJvjTickets 🎟️ >>> https://t.co/BYg3GV1NuS@BMOfr #CFMTL pic.twitter.com/235AxMOjBh— x – CF Montréal (@cfmontreal) October 10, 2022 Midfielder Djordje Mihailovic is equally proud of the team’s achievements. The attacking midfielder, who is heading to AZ Alkmaar says team work played a big part in their good run.“We proved time and time again this season that the collective is more important than the player. There’s obviously a few guys that are leaders on the team, but consistently when a man gets injured, when a man goes down, another one steps up and that’s exactly what happened today. It was happening all season, that’s why we’re in this position,” he stated.Gor Mahia boss Ambrose Rachier unbothered with death rumours
