Pamzo open to more signings in latest Police financial flex

Kenya Police FC head coach Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omolo is open to making more signings despite having what many would argue is a richly balanced squad ahead of the 2022/23 FKF Premier League campaign. The law enforcers have been on a signing spree for the last three transfer windows and have assembled what is an enviable squad. The likes of Francis Kahata, Duke Abuya, Musa Mohammed, Clifton Miheso, Harun Shakava, Marvin Nabwire, Baraka Badi, and Elvis Rupia highlight what is a star-studded and talented squad at Pamzo’s disposal.##NAJAVA_MECA_6724263##The team showed that it is ready to take the 2022/23 campaign by storm when it lifted the Elite Pre-season Cup two weeks ago and they are clearly one of the teams to watch when the new campaign commences.Pamzo is however not done yet and is open to adding more players to the squad. Among players linked with a move to the club is the soon-to-be out-of-contract Kakamega Homeboyz defender Sylvester Owino who has attracted interest both locally and outside the borders.“We already had a competitive squad given we did a lot of signing in the last two transfer windows but we are still open for new players,” he told the Star.Kenya Police FC are the Elite Pre-season Cup champions. The law enforcers downed Nairobi City Stars 2-0 in the final played at the Nyayo National Stadium on Saturday afternoon. They walk home with Ksh. 1 Million.#FKFPL #ElitePreSeasonCup pic.twitter.com/nlo7DlX8gY— Ole Teya (@Kevin_teya) October 1, 2022 The law enforcers ended the 2021/22 season in the tenth position. They recovered from a slow start to finish the campaign strongly and Pamzo, who won the league title with Tusker FC in 2011 is confident that they will perform better next season. He says he is seeing positive signs at the training ground.“I’m confident we will have an improved season given the quality of players we signed in the last transfer window. The good thing is that we started our preparations early and from the look of things in the few friendlies we’ve been involved in, the players look quite promising,”.Are the stars aligning well for a Kenya Police title hunt?
