Congaree Golf Club in Ridgeland, South Carolina – site of the PGA Tour’s CJ Cup – was designed by Tom Fazio and opened in 2017. This will be the second Tour event for the private club after it hosted the 2021 Palmetto Championship.
Congaree will play to a par of 71 at 7,655 yards for the CJ Cup. Congaree ranks as the No. 2 private course in South Carolina on Golfweek’s Best ranking of top layouts in each state, and it ties for No. 22 on the ranking of top modern courses built in the U.S. since 1960.
