Arrested, on bail, arrested again, on bail again. That has been the line of activities for Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood, since first allegations against him were put up in public in January. The 20-year-old was arrested in January after images and videos of apparent violent behavior were posted online. He was also questioned on suspicion of making threats to kill and on this Monday, he has been officially charged with attempted rape, engaging in controlling and coercive behavior and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. Apparently, he was trying to make a contact with the alleged victim. He was back at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on Monday, but remained in custody before he was (again) released on a bail today. A spokesperson for the court said bail had been granted with conditions not to contact witnesses, including the complainant, and to reside at an address on Bow Green Road in Bowdon.
