Football Kenya Federation Premier league side Ulinzi Stars are set to take on record Kenyan champions Gor Mahia in a friendly match at the Ulinzi Sports Complex, Lang’ata on Saturday morning.However, the match set for a 10 AM kick-off will be played behind closed doors according to the communication passed across by the club and as thus fans will not be allowed.Gor Mahia’s tactician Jonathan McKinstry has previously said that their focus is on the progress of the team and not on the result they get from friendly matches as they continue to prepare for the new campaign.On the other side, the Benard Mwalala-coached side has been engaging in test matches with teams across the divide in an attempt to not only maintain sharpness but to also give the new tactician an opportunity to evaluate his players.Gor Mahia sourcing for additional technical staff abroadAlready, they have tested themselves against fellow premier league sides AFC Leopards and Tusker FC in friendlies, as well as against Kenya Police and Nairobi City Stars during the Elite Preseason Cup.In another friendly match on Friday, the 2010 champions saw off their dicsciplined brothers Kenya Navy 2-0 at the Moi Airbase Grounds courtesy of goals by Mark Bikokwa and Glen Wafula.
