Kenyan international Vincent Oburu was on target as his side Zesco United came from a goal down in the first half to see off Kansanshi Dynamos in a league match on Saturday afternoon.Oburu, who was starting his second league match since returning from a lengthy absence due to injury, found the back of the net for the second time running, this time his goal coming with a win unlike in midweek where they lost despite him scoring.After his nightmarish error against Royal AM in the CAF Confederation Cup, Harambee Stars custodian Ian Otieno was left out of the match day once again, with Gregory Sanjese being handed the task between the sticks.Jesse Were returned to Kansanshi’s starting 11, coming up against his former employer but he could not find the back of the net and was withdrawn midway through the second half.Marvin Jere opened the scoring for Dynamos after just five minutes but the lead lasted for 17 minutes only as Keziron Kizito grabbed the equalizer with Oburu playing a part in the goal as he laid the ball off for the Ugandan.Three minutes later, captain John Ching’andu led by example as he scored to give Zesco the lead for the first time in the game and there was no letting the foot off the pedal from there onwards.Kenyan international Vincent Oburu glad to exorcize injury nightmaresIn the second minute of stoppage time in the first half, Oburu found the back of the net with a strike from his favorite left foot to add to Zesco’s tally in the game as they went into the break with a comfortable 3-1 lead.He, however, could not play the entire length of the match as he was stretched out with five minutes left in regular time.
