Former FKF Transition Committee head of secretariat Linda Oguttu says it was an honour to serve in the committee for eleven months as she bows out of office following the expiry of their term.Oguttu alongside the other members were in November handed the mandate to run football in the country after the outgoing Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed disbanded FKF led by Nick Mwendwa and installed the Linda led committee to run football. The body was initially known as the FKF Caretaker Committee before in metamorphosed to Transition Committee.##NAJAVA_MECA_6757961##The body’s mandate expired on 16th October and they will no longer be in charge of football in the country. Incoming CS Ababu Namwamba is expected to give the way forward on matters football management after his swearing in on Thursday.The seasoned journalist has described her reign at the helm of the committee as one full of great lessons. She further wished CS Namwamba well as he prepares to take over. The world football governing body banished Kenya in February leading to the national teams and clubs missing international competitions. They were also in charge of leagues whose legality is being challenged in court.
