A day after he parted ways with Kagera Sugar FC, coach Francis Baraza has attracted the interest of three Tanzanian Premier League clubs who are keen on securing his services. On Friday evening, Kagera announced that they have reached an agreement with the tactician over a mutual termination of his contract. He had been in charge of the club for 18 months and last season he led the team to a 6th-place finish. Nine matches into the new season, the club has suffered five defeats and are 13th in the log.##NAJAVA_MECA_6767687##Three clubs are now keen on securing the former Kenyan international’s signature. According to a source close to the developments, Baraza could soon land at another TPL which will be his third after a stint with Biashara and Kagera.“Baraza has made a name in Tanzania and his sacking was not a well-thought-out decision. Three clubs have expressed interest in his services. Dodoma Jiji, Ihefu, and Tanzania Police FC are after his services. They have not formally engaged him but he is aware that they are interested in his services. The coach is keen on remaining in Tanzania and if talks with any of the clubs come to fruition he will take over as soon as possible,” the source told Mozzart Sport. The three clubs after Baraza’s signature occupy the last three positions in the log and they will be hoping that he will perform the miracles he did at Kagera. When he was named coach in March 2021, the team was at rock bottom and he helped the team finish in the sixth position, narrowly missing out on continental football. All the teams have picked just one win and all have five points.Kenyan coach sacked in Tanzania
