Kenya Police head coach Samuel ‘Pamzo’ Omollo has confirmed that the club is in talks with their former winger Clifton Miheso with an intention of reuniting with him.The club parted with the attacker who was their best scorer last season and the second best in the league courtesy of the fifteen goals he scored following the expiry of his contract.Pamzo revealed that talks between the winger and the management were at an advanced stage and expressed optimism that a deal will be sealed before the transfer window closes.##NAJAVA_MECA_6767700##Police nearly lost the Kenyan international to Ethiopian Premier League side Wolkite FC last month but the deal hit a snag leaving the player with no option other than returning to his parent club.Miheso joined the law enforcers in October last year from record Kenyan champions Gor Mahia.Vihiga Bullets appoint new coach“We are talking to him and hopefully, the talks will yield fruits before the league starts,” disclosed the former defender.Pamzo who took over the reigns at Police in March replacing John Bobby Ogolla said the club was enticing the former AFC Leopards winger given goal contribution and overall performance in the past season as well as his experience in the league. The tactician could not resist expressing his admiration for the former Thika United man who had previously worked with him at Gor Mahia.Pamzo sets condition for Ovella to be met before joining Police“If he joins us, I will give him time to be ready for he has not had a good pre-season unlike the rest of my players. I understand his strengths and I know what he can bring to the team. He was our best scorer last season. You can not simply let such a player go,” he added.Police have also been linked to another Kenyan international in Ovella Ochieng who has been training with the club in the past weeks. The transfer window, was reopened last week and is set to run up to mid-next month.
