Vihiga Bullets FC have appointed former Tusker and Bandari FC assistant coach George Owoko as their new head coach.Owoko, who guided Barding Secondary School to the East African football title in 2016 has previously coached Nairobi Stima and Nairobi United. However, the club, alongside Mathare United have been attending FKF Premier League CEOS meeting and insist that they are part of the top tier as the FKF Transition Committee did not have the powers to chop them from the top tier.It is likely to degenerate into a battle as APS Bomet, one of the clubs promoted to the top have made it clear they will seek legal redress should they be denied a chance to feature in the top tier.
