That the Secretary to the Head of Secretariat, Barry Otieno, be also restored so that the football fixtures should then be planned and the league should start immediately,” Rachier said.On his part, Namwamba welcomed the suggestions made by the respective club chairmen as he offered to include them as part of his considerations with world football governing body FIFA.FKF Premier League clubs’ Chaimen have advised CS Ababu Namwamba to adhere to FIFA demands so that the suspension can be lifted. -Vice President Doris Petra to return to office. -GS/CEO Barry Otieno to be restored. -The FKF secretariat to be restored.#KEFootball pic.twitter.com/NPrxeNL6g8— Ole Teya (@Kevin_teya) November 3, 2022 “The clubs have come here to offer their advise to the government who have listened. The government is going to put that advise together with the advise and opinions from other stakeholders to communicate with FIFA,” Namwamba said.“The immediate effect is that we are communicating with FIFA and the steps that follow including the reopening of the Secretariat is a decision between government and FIFA because they have to give the greenlight. Once they do that, things will move as urgently but what I promise is that football is coming back,” Namwamba added.##NAJAVA_MECA_6778579##Additionally, the former lawmaker revealed that he had already been in touch with FIFA five times and would do so again immediately after the meeting with the club chairmen.”I have also been constantly in communication with FIFA. Indeed, I have spoken with them five times already and I will be on phone immediately after this press conference. My conversation with them has been about finding a consensual resolution to the impasse that has hindered the return of Kenyan football to normalcy,” he revealed.
