FKF Premier League side Kenya Police FC have been rocked by injuries ahead of the 2022/23 season that is expected to kick off in the next few weeks. Following the restoration of FKF, the football governing body promised to issue a roadmap that will guide the resumption of football activities. During the off season window, they brought in Patilah Omoto from Kariobangi Sharks, Reagan Otieno and Baraka Badi from KCB, David Okoth from Kakamega Homeboyz and James Kibande from Nzoia Sugar FC. The team will also be boosted by the availability of players who will link up with the squad on fulltime basis after graduating from the police training school.Coach Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omolo will however have to do with four key players for the first few weeks of the season. New signing David Okoth and midfielders Daniel Musamali, Marvin Nabwire and Alvin Mang’eni are all sidelined with different injuries. Marvin, David, Musamalu and Mang’eni have been out for around month now and they will still be out for around one more month and that means if the league starts now, we will be without them for the first few games,” he said.On his team’s preparations, the tactician believes they are ready for the new season saying they have had enough time to sharpen the team.“Apart from the four, the other players are fit and available. We are also happy because we know the league will commence soon.
