After staying out of Kenya Police FC’s camp for over three months, highly-rated Kenyan International Clifton Miheso has rejoined Kenya Police FC on a two-year contract, Mozzart Sport can confirm. The winger, who was in fine form for the club last season, left after his contract lapsed and almost joined Wolkite City FC in Ethiopia but the deal fell through. He returned to Kenya and started negotiations with Police FC over a possible reunion but with talks not fruitful, he opted to stay away and train individually. However, with just a day to the new FKFPL season, the parties have now had a breakthrough. “Initially I did not see commitment from the team’s officials but this week they have shown clear interest and have moved with speed to convince me. I am happy to rejoin the club and looking forward to giving my best as usual.” Miheso told Mozzart Sport. ##NAJAVA_MECA_6827621##Police FC Head Coach Sammy “Pamzo” Omollo also expressed his joy with the latest development. “This is very important for us to have him back. Personally I am really happy and I even spoke to him this morning to express my joy and also brief him on the role I expect him to play for the club this season. He was our topscorer in the last campaign and won various important games for us. He is a dependable player who is very crucial in this Police FC project,” Pamzo told Mozzart Sport,”He also comes back at a crucial time when I was lacking depth on the flanks due to injuries. David Okoth, Reagan Otieno and Alvin Mangeni are on the treatment table and therefore having Miheso back is big blessing to the team.” He added.Miheso held his first training session in three months with the club this morning and will be in contention for a starting place on Sunday when the team faces KCB at Kasarani Annex.
