Barisa keen on opening goal account in the FKF PL on his debut

Nzoia Sugar forward Mohammed Barisa is hoping to mark his Football Kenya Federation Premier League debut with a goal when the sugarmen take on Gor Mahia on Saturday at Nyayo Stadium.Barisa joined Nzoia in July after impressing the technical bench in the trials that were conducted to net a replacement to Levis Okello who joined Kakamega Homeboyz. ##NAJAVA_MECA_6827623##The Bungoma based club was dealt a massive blow in the past window as Okello who was their best scorer in the past season decamped to Homeboyz who are understood to have given him a better package. Nzoia acquired Yasin Sije from Division One side Mayenje Santos in a bid to fill in the gap left by Okello. Further, the club acquired Barisa who prior to putting pen to paper was a free agent. With Sije unavailable in the opening match due to an illness, coach Salim Babu will solely rely on Barisa who had a brief stint in the Burundian league early this year to lead the forward line.
