Kenyan international and AIK defender Collins Sichenje has revealed that he gets his inspiration from his father’s botched football career ended by injury.Speaking to Vee Nyaga, a Kenyan based in Sweden, Sichenje acknowledged his family’s support to his career and that of his brother since they were young.The former AFC Leopards player moved to Sweden in April and managed to feature in eight league matches, starting in four and coming off the bench in as many matches to accumulate 281 minutes.Sichenje admits to challenges after completing maiden season in SwedenHe has also managed to play in the UEFA Europa Conference League, featuring in four matches with a total of 361 matches.##NAJAVA_MECA_6824735##”My father inspired me to play football because he was a footballer himself although he did not go far because he was injured. He has been training my brother and I and he pushes us, alongside our mother.
