Harambee Stars goalkeeper Farouk Shikalo had reportedly left Tanzania Premier League side Mtibwa Sugar barely three months since he joined the Millers on a one-year deal from rivals KMC.Shikalo, who had established himself as the first-choice keeper at the club last featured for Mtibwa on 12th November against Azam in a match that they went down 3-4. He was faulted for some of the goals let in against the Ice-cream makers and was subsequently dropped in the following game against Coastal Union. He missed his side’s Monday league action against Tanzania Police a match that they won 2-1.Reports in Tanzania now indicate that the former Yanga and KMC goalkeeper has cut ties with Mtibwa and will be looking for a new home in the coming weeks.Former Harambee Stars and Bandari goalkeepers’ coach trainer, Razak Siwa, who worked with Shikalo at Bandari, Yanga and Mtibwa is also expected to leave the club as Mtibwa moves to shake up the entire goalkeeping department.Shikalo, a full Kenyan international turned out for Tusker FC, Posta Rangers, Muhoroni Youth, FC Talanta and Bandari before moving to Tanzania in 2019.
