Other younger players have got full sports scholarships in secondary schools and that even gives us more satisfaction as organisers of this tournament,” Ojwaya says,“This year the turnout from fans has been overwhelming. Actually, we wanted to host the matches at the Kwale Stadium but were advised against it as the facility wouldn’t have managed to hold the fans that have been thronging the Waa Primary School for the matches from the preliminary level. The entrance and exit points at the Kwale Stadium would have been a risk due to the large number of fans we expect for the finals this weekend,” he added.Ojwaya adds that the small businesses within Waa have thrived since the tournament started as they have ready customers.Mozzart Bet has pumped Ksh 1.5 Million into this year’s edition of the tournament that is the brainchild of media personality Rashid Abadallah.
