Football Kenya Federation Premier League side Ulinzi Stars rallied from a goal down to play Kakamega Homeboyz to a 1-1 draw in a Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) match played at the Bukhungu Stadium on Sunday 11 December.Homeboyz took an early lead in the game as Michael Isabwa found the back of the net in the fourth minute but Ulinzi levelled matters late in the half through Hillary Simiyu. ##NAJAVA_MECA_6882955##Isabwa who was making a comeback to the first team after staring from the bench in the previous assignment against Kenya Police scored from a long ball launched into the area by Robinson Kamura. However, Ulinzi had an answer to the goal as Simiyu restored parity to take his tally to three goals in three successive matches. The goal also propelled the former Nzoia Sugar man to the joint top in the scorers sheet with Tusker forward Deogratious Ojok.Simiyu who joined the four-time champions last year takes the lion share of the goals scored by the club as the forward claims three of the four goals the team has scored this season. His combination with Boniface Muchiri who registered an assist is certainly a perfect solution to their blunt forward that managed 19 goals in the past campaign.Heading to the match, Homeboyz were seeking to register their third win in a row as they had beaten the duo of Kenya Police and KCB by an identical 1-0 scorelines.Ulinzi on the other hand, were looking for their second win of the season having beaten Posta Rangers 1-0 in the last fixture.
