Bidco United FC are yet to taste victory in four Football Kenya Federation Premier League, FKFPL fixtures. In their last outing, the Thika-based side battled to a barren draw at Wazito FC in a midweek tie on Wednesday. The team’s previous games, aside from the opening 2-0 win over Nairobi City Stars FC, have been losses.”We have not lost today (Wednesday), and that’s a big positive. Looking at our past three they’ve all been scoring loses, so this one is an improvement we hope to build on moving forward,” Bidco United coach Anthony Akhulia told Mozzart Sport.pic.twitter.com/wkJG0nljd9— KCB Football Club (@KCBFootball) December 20, 2022 Yet, Akhulia was worried that for the first time in four games, his charges could not find the back of the net.”In all our matches since the league began, even the ones we’ve lost, we have been scoring, that was not the case in this, our striking force was blunt. We created some decent chances, but could not convert them.”His equal opposite Jeff Odongo was also content with the draw, but looks to improve with more games.Wazito were playing their first match of the season after a long court battle over relegations and promotions from last season kept them in the cold.📸 Images from our match against Bidco United.[Photo Thread]#Believe #LionHearted 🦁 pic.twitter.com/2pbGnb1Ufv— KCB Football Club (@KCBFootball) December 20, 2022 “It was our first match and we’re yet to get our flow, but I’m sure with more matches we’ll get better. It’s unfortunate that we’re taking another break until January,” said Jeff.Jeff also rued missed chances in the game, “We deserved to pick maximum points especially being that we were the home team, but we will accept the draw and build on it moving forward. It was evident we were the better side, but somehow we couldn’t get the goals despite creating several chances.”The league is taking a two-week break until January 4th to allow for the Christmas and New Year’s festivities
