Kakamega Homeboyz head coach John Baraza has lauded young winger Brian Buleti saying he has earned his place in the starting XI after being included in the first team in the last two games. The right winger was largely a peripheral winger last season earning a few minutes here and there but fortunes seem to have changed for him as he has made starts in the last two games against FC Talanta and probably the biggest game of his life against AFC Leopards in which he showed flashes of brilliance as they played out to a barren draw at the Nyayo National Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.##NAJAVA_MECA_6906292##To field Buleti in the two games, Baraza had to overlook seasoned forwards like Chris Masinza, Simon Abuko, and Michael Isabwa among others and asked how the boy had forced himself into his starting XI, Baraza explained that the youngster had earned the minutes in the training ground.“The boy is earning it in the training ground. He is really working hard to play and we have no option rather than give him the chance to play. I can say so far so good, he is really pushing himself well and I hope that he will keep improving and attain high levels that we know he is capable of,” Baraza said. The former Harambee Stars captain added that any of his players can earn the minutes as long as they work hard and prove that they deserve to play.“I believe in rewarding hard work. Everyone has a chance as long as they show that they are ready to play and stick to our instructions and play for the team. We have a big squad and any of our players can play provided they earn that chance,” he added.Matano opens up on reason for Tusker’s impeccable season start
