Ulinzi Stars FC head coach Bernard Mwalala says he is working towards fully instilling his philosophy and style of play in his players ahead of FKF Premier League resumption in ten days’ time. The military outfit has struggled in the opening six matches of the season and currently occupy the sixth position. They have suffered two defeats to Kariobangi Sharks and AFC Leopards, drew with Kakamega Homeboyz and Sofapaka, and picked wins over Posta Rangers and FC Talanta.##NAJAVA_MECA_6906313##The tactician however admits that his team is yet to fully absorb his style and it is something that he hopes to achieve in the next few weeks in order to curb the costly mistakes that they have committed in the opening duels of the season.“The main thing that I am working on is to get the players playing my way. I am trying to instill my style of play and philosophy and so far I can say we are at 60%, there is more work to be done. Generally, we have not been playing badly, our main undoing has been individual errors leading to goals and this I believe will be reduced once the players fully understand how I want them to play,” he told Mozzart Sport. The tactician further discussed his team’s ambitions. He revealed that they have divided their games into a batch of five with a set goal for each batch.“Before the start of the season, our goal was to occupy the top five positions after five rounds of league matches. After six matches we are in the sixth position and this is because we lost the opening two games to Leopards and Kariobangi Sharks cheaply, we gifted the two teams three points but fortunately we recovered and we have not lost in our last four games,” he added.🥳Happy birthday to our tough tackling Defender Boniface Andayi who turns a new leaf today. Once we are done with the five we will have another batch of five with a different goal to achieve. That will be our approach until the end of the campaign,”.Next for the soldiers is a home match against Mathare United on Wednesday 4h January 2023.How political decisions tragically swayed Kenyan football like a seesaw in 2022
