With just over two weeks left to the kick-off of the 2022 African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Algeria, CAF has published the full list of match officials set to do duty at the continental competition.As reported earlier, Peter Waweru Kamaku is the only Kenyan official having been picked in the capacity of a VAR Referee in the list that has a total of 52 officials representing 32 of CAF’s Member Associations.Of the 52 match officials, 19 center referees, 21 assistant referees, while 12 are video assistant referees.Referee Peter Waweru lands CHAN duty after lifting of FIFA suspensionIn keeping with its policy of promoting women’s refereeing, CAF has appointed three women match officials. Vincentia E.
