Bidco United head coach Anthony Akhulia has admitted to having a scoring problem in his team and hopes that his strikers can step up and get goals in the coming matches.Five matches into the new season, United have managed just four goals with two of them coming in the opening match of the season against City Stars that ended in a 2-0 win; their only win of the campaign so far.##NAJAVA_MECA_6910938##They have suffered defeats to Gor Mahia, KCB, and Tusker FC. In all three games plus the barren draw against Wazito FC, they have created numerous opportunities which were not taken and in the end, they suffer defeats in matches in which they had an upper hand. The wastefulness has coach Akhulia worrying as they continue to drop points. He says that they have lost the goal-scoring touch which they had during pre-season but hopes that things will change for the better soon.”We have not been outplayed in all the three games we’ve lost. We dominate matches, create chances fail to utilise them and when an opponent gets one or two they make the most out of it and win games, that has been our story so far this season,” he said.“During pre-season, my strikers were scoring goals effortlessly but we’ve lost that scoring touch along the way and I hope that in not so long we will start scoring again. We are creating these opportunities and it is about time that we made them count,”.The tactician ruled out bringing on board more attackers in January saying he will keep working on the attackers at his disposal.”I believe that I have the right caliber of strikers, forwards that should be scoring goals and we will keep working at the training ground until they get that scoring touch back. I don’t believe in getting another set of strikers because there are no guarantees they will score. I will keep working with the ones that I have until they get it right,” he added.Up next for Bidco is a home match against Nzoia Sugar on Wednesday 4th January 2023.Mieno opens up on reason for Tusker’s good results
