Seasoned midfielder walks out of Tusker for the second time

Tusker FC midfielder Clyde Senaji has announced his departure from the club after reaching a mutual agreement to terminate his with the club. The contract was supposed to run up to September 2023 but he now walks out eight months earlier.Senaji quits Tusker after 15 months with the 12-time league champions. He joined the team from AFC Leopards in September 2021 signing a two-year deal with the Robert Matano-led team that was beefing up then after letting go of nearly half of the players that won the 2020/21 league title.##NAJAVA_MECA_6938340##He featured in CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup matches for the club and also lifted the 2021/22 title although the season, which was run by the FKF Transition Committee, was later nullified by Football Kenya Federation a move that also meant that there was no promotion to and relegation from the top and second tier leagues.In an exclusive interview with Mozzart Sport, the defensive midfielder announced that the two parties agreed to end ties and that there was no bad blood between him and the club.”I can confirm that I have officially left Tusker FC. The decision was a mutual agreement and I want to thank the club for the opportunity they accorded me, I wish them well for the remainder of the season,” Senaji told Mozzart Sport.This was Senaji’s second stint with the Ruaraka-based side. He last featured for the team on 10th December 2022 against Bidco United in Thika. That was the last time he was named in the match Day squad.Regarding his future, Senaji says he will make a decision once the transfer window swings open on 27th February.”The window doesn’t open until February and I will take some time off, and keep fit on my own as await my next move.
