Fans have been waiting for more than a year for the highly-anticipated release of a Netflix show detailing the behind-the-scenes lives of some of the world’s best professional golfers.
The wait is almost over.
On Wednesday, a trailer for Full Swing was dropped that featured a release date of Feb. 15 as well as a loaded list of the following PGA Tour and LIV Golf stars: Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Scottie Scheffler, Brooks Koepka, Collin Morikawa, Ian Poulter, Joel Dahmen, Matt Fitzpatrick, Dustin Johnson, Tony Finau, Sahith Theegala, Mito Pereira, Joaquin Niemann and Rory McIlroy.
“If I want the game that I love to be played by future generations, the game needs to be pushed forward,” McIlroy said in the final clip of the trailer.

On a previous episode of the No Laying Up podcast, producer Paul Martin said they wanted to “create this kind of Marvel superhero universe” for its loaded list of players that now includes five members of LIV Golf – Koepka, Poulter, Johnson, Niemann and the recently-reported Pereira.
“You picked a hell of a year to start following the PGA Tour,” said Poulter in the trailer, who is also seen throwing a temper tantrum in a locker room.
The PGA Tour’s battle with LIV Golf dominated the sport in 2022 and seems to be a key focus for the show. So mark your calendars and get ready, because this trailer is just the beginning.
