To be honest, we were having funny characters in the team that we needed to get rid of,” he added.##EDITORS_CHOICE##The “funny characters” Iswekha alluded to are players who were involved in match-fixing leading to the club attracting FIFA’s wrath.In a latest revelation, six former Zoo FC players were amongst fifteen individuals, who were suspended by FKF from all football activities for involvement in match-fixing, pending investigations.Iswekha is content with the support Zoo is getting to enable the compete in the league, “so far so good, the chairman has made sure we’re comfortable. The fans have also given us a lot of support. In our weekend game, you could have thought we were playing a Premier League match, the fans came in large numbers to support. We thank them.”
