Vihiga Bullets head coach lays bare financial constraints facing the team

Following their entertaining 3-3 draw against Kariobangi Sharks, Vihiga Bullets head coach George Owoko Oduor has laid bare their financial plight that the team has suffered thus far this season.The Vihiga-based club are currently without a sponsor with their main source of funding coming from former Vihiga Governor Moses Akaranga who helped the club earn promotion to the top flight in the 2020-2021 season.Masud suffers penalty miss, Ayunga at the end of 4-0 beating but Joash Onyango in blissOwoko revealed that were it not for the current Vihiga Governor Wilber Otichilo, they would have dished out a walk over against Sharks as he highlighted the sorry state of the team.“The boys are really suffering, we were not supposed to honour the Sharks fixture but I thank Otichilo who donated Ksh100,000 for the boys to travel.
