If we can score, then we should be able to defend well. We are conceding from lack of concentration in the backline every time and I feel that if we work on that we will get something. In every other game this season we conceded in the first half but in the match, everything worked until Lennox (Ogutu) came off and we let in a goal almost immediately. We lost 3-2 in the previous game, the most recent one we lost 2-1 so we are getting there,” the tactician said.Further, he pointed out the fact that they have scored in every game that they have played this season except one shows that they have what it takes to win matches, provided they avoid conceding.Mathare confident of avoiding relegation after three years of close shavesThe 4-0 defeat to Sofapaka was the only game that the 3008 champions failed to score.”We are scoring in every game but we end up losing the match but we continue to push ourselves. The reality is dawning on the players and it showed in the match against AFC Leopards, more so in the second half, they pushed hard and got a goal,” he added.
