2009 Kenya Premier League champions Sofapaka FC have parted ways with the attacking duo of Joseph Waithira and Davis Kasirye, the club has confirmed.Waithera, who joined the club in February 2021 from Wazito FC on a two-year deal leaves upon the expiry of his contract and was minimally used in the matches that the club has played so far.In the current campaign, Waithira had scored only once, netting in the opening match against Bandari FC at Mbaraki Grounds as Sofapaka fell 2-1.In a statement, the club confirmed the departure of the two players, wishing them well in their future endeavors.”Sofapaka Football Club can confirm we have parted ways with forwards Joseph Waithira and David Kasiyrie.
