Crowds face trouble accessing Nyayo owing to gate allocation system

AFC Leopards’ plan to use only two gates to allow fans entry into the Nyayo National Stadium for the 92nd edition of their clash against sworn rivals Gor Mahia ended up proving to be a catastrophe as a major part of the supporters were left frustrated minutes into kickoff.Despite having bought tickets for the game, a large number of fans were seen stranded outside trying to negotiate their way into the stadium only for their attempts to be hampered by the gate allocation system.Prior to the match, Ingwe, being hosts of the clash has announced that only two gates out of the possible eleven will be used to access the ground despite an anticipated huge turnout.How Kenyan referees lost millionsAccording to information released by the club, Gor Mahia fans would only use Gate 2 as their entrance with Ingwe supporters using Gate 10.The end product of the poor planning resulted with fans left frustrated outside as the game progressed inside.”We are wondering why AFC Leopards only used one gate for the different set of fans. I have paid and I have my ticket for the match but I cannot access the ground.
