PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – The PGA Tour’s designated events are attracting elite fields with $20 million purses. While some of the biggest names like Jon Rahm, who made his Tour-best 24th straight cut, and Max Homa are dialed in this week at the Genesis Invitational, not everybody brought their ‘A-game’ to Tinseltown.

You still have to play at a very high level otherwise you might find yourself on the wrong side of the cutline. It was a long waiting game for Tiger Woods, who had to sweat it out until Saturday morning to book his weekend plans for Riviera Country Club. The cut was made at 1-over 142 and 68 players still have a legitimate chance to hoist the trophy on Sunday.
Here are some of the big names who weren’t so lucky.
