Midfielder confirms Bandari departure

Bandari FC midfielder Wilberforce Lugogo has confirmed that he has parted ways with the Mombasa-based side after his contract expired.The St. Anthony’s Boys Kitale alumnus has been with the Dockers for the last six years, becoming an integral part of the team. Last season, he was loaned out to Sofapaka before returning to the Anthony Kimani-coached side at the start of the current campaign.##NAJAVA_MECA_7041449##He featured in a handful of games this season, and when his contract ended at the close of January, the club hierarchy and technical bench opted against offering him a new deal.The player has now announced his exit from the Mbaraki-based outfit.”I can confirm that I have left Bandari FC upon the expiry of my contract. My deal with the team ended at the end of January, and I was not offered an extension; I am currently a new agent looking for a new home,” he told Mozzart Sport.The workaholic midfielder went on to wish the club well, saying they had been family to him for years.”I have been with Bandari for many years; they have been my family, and I can only wish them well. I enjoyed my time there, made many friends, and I want to wish the club well for the remainder of the season and the future,” he added.Ex Wazito FC pair of Joe Waithira and Amos Asembeka is set to join Bandari FC.
