Maina, Shikanda on target as Sharks whip Sofapaka

Batoto wa Mungu were dealt a big blow in the 19th minute when captain David Nshimirimana was forced off with an injury, his place at the back was taken by Ronack Otieno.The last 15 minutes of the first stanza were livelier but with a few half chances apart. The best went Sharks’ way in the 40th minute but Sharif Musa missed a sitter as a promising delivery from midfield went across goal. A minute later Fortune Omoto nearly made it 2-0 but his attempt was blocked.Titus Achesa had a great chance to draw his side level but his shot from inside the penalty area in the 65th minute went over the bar. At the other end end Moses Shikanda forced Kevin Otieno to pull a superb save moments later.##NAJAVA_MECA_7049888##Sharks put the match beyond Sofapaka’s reach in the 75th minute through substitute Shikanda. The forward pounced on a loose ball after Sofapaka keeper had denied Tyson. Tyson would then rattle the upright in the 81st minute from a freekick situation.
