The cat has finally been let out of the bag.Experienced Harambee Stars left back Abud Omar will officially be returning to the top flight Kenyan Premier League after agreeing to a deal with moneybags Kenya Police FC, Mozzart Sport can reveal.The Mombasa born defender last played in the Kenyan top flight in 2015 where he had featured for Tusker for two years before making his foray to Europe, signing with Greek club Panegialios in August that year.Kenyan international left back Abud Omar has signed for Police FC. In early 2011, he was loaned to Kenyan Premier League club Bandari.In June 2013, Omar joined Kenyan Premier League defending Champions Tusker where he won 2013 Kenyan Super Cup.Wanyama features as Montreal go down in MLS season openerAfter two years at Tusker, Omar signed with Greek club Panegialios in August 2015.He made his debut in a 0–0 home draw against Acharnaikos on 27 September. Omar played half of the season, appearing 15 times in the league.In 2016, he signed with Bulgarian side Slavia Sofia before stints at Cercle Brugge (Belgium), Sepsi OSK (Romania), Ionokos (Greece) before his last European stint which came at Greek side AEL Larissa where his contract was reportedly terminated on mutual consent back in June 2022.
